More Higher Speed Turns
| Drill Five: Start facing marker one, at a distance sufficient to increase speed to 1- -15 mph. Just before reaching end of line "A", reduce speed. As you complete your turn around the line "A", accelerate past marker two to the end of line "B". Practice turning in both directions. |
| Problems | Corrections |
|---|---|
| Swinging wide of the turn. | Press more on handle bar in direction of turn and look where you want to go. |
| Cutting corner to close or turning too sharply. | Press less on handle bar. |
| Exiting wide out of turn. Making the oval into a circle. | Slow down more on entering the turn or straighten the handle bars. |
